Echo Park & Elysian Park free walking tours
The Echo Park Gathering of the Elders and Caregivers is hosting a series of free, educational walking tours of Echo Park Lake and Elysian Park. The walks are open to everyone of all ages. Please dress for the weather, wear sunscreen, bring plenty of water and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Echo Park Lake
Learn about all the plants in and around Echo Park Lake, a guided tour led by Michael O’Brien (Echo Park’s local expert!).

Meet by the Boat House
Friday, October 24 at 9:00 am
Meet at the clump of bamboos by the pump station (close to Bellevue & Echo Park Avenue)
Monday, October 27 at 9:00 am
Meet at the south end of Echo Park by Glendale Avenue and Bellevue.
Elysian Park
A guided tour led by Michael O’Brien of all the plants along a popular trail in the 544 acre public park.
Friday, October 17 at 9:00 am
Meet at the fire road at trail on Academy between Morton and Stadium Way/Avenue of the Palms. Exercise caution as there are no crosswalks or sidewalks in this section of the road.
